The daughter of Academy Award winner Kevin Kline and actress Phoebe Yates, Frankie Cosmos (real name Greta Kline) has certainly inherited her parent’s creative streak. Unveiling new single ‘Sinister’ from her forthcoming album Next Thing (out 1^st April 2016 on Bayonet Records), her music is quirkier than Zooey Deschanel in a leftfield indie film. With The Moldy Peaches-esque treatment, ‘Sinister’ is saccharine and catchy as hell despite the dark connotations of the songwriting. Still fairly DIY, Frankie Cosmos hasn’t lost an ounce of her kooky charm and it seems her album is going to be out of this world. -SJ
